Tamiya is proud to release the 1/16 scale R/C assembly kit of the Russian heavy tank KV-1 which terrified German forces during WWII.
The dynamic form of the KV-1s angular, welded turret has been accurately reproduced, and accessories such as the tow cables and tool boxes highlight its superb exterior details. Many metal parts have also been incorporated with the chassis to ensure high durability. In addition to forward/reverse running and left/right turning, the tank also features realistic barrel and hull recoil actions when firing the main gun. The front machine gun also features muzzle flash effect and firing sounds, while both the headlight and taillight are controllable as well.
Rear-mounted pre-assembled gearbox features twin motors for plenty of power. Metal parts such as the lower hull, suspension arms, and drive sprockets ensure durability. The suspension is just like that on an actual KV-1 and features metal torsion bars and pre-assembled resin tracks to absorb terrain undulations.
In addition, the DMD Control Unit T-08 features a special low-speed setting which enables slow lumbering movements for even greater realism.
During main gun firing, the barrel-mounted LED flashes, firing sound roars from the onboard speaker, and the turret recoil unit and drivetrain gearbox work in conjunction to produce realistic barrel and hull recoil movement.

Here at House of Hobbies, all orders are sent via Royal Mail 48HR Tracked and will normally be dispatched within 2 to 3 working days of acceptance of order. Items marked as 'Available' will typically be shipped within 7-14 days as we call them in from supply

Returns
Sometimes things don't work out, and that's fine! We are happy to issue refunds for new, unopened items that have been sold and fulfilled here at House of Hobbies, within 30 days of delivery. Return costs for non faulty items are at the buyers expense. We will not issue refunds for multiple purchases of the same product at all so this should be taken into consideration when purchasing quantities of an item, whether for collecting or resale. Refunds on returned Pre Ordered items will only be issued as store credit.
Your refund will be sent to you after we have received the product back, and you should receive a full refund within four weeks at the latest (but in most cases, it will be far quicker - this time period just covers transit time for us receive the product back, send it to our distributor, and get a new one back if necessary, then have your refund processed by the bank). We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
If you need to send something back then please package it accordingly and post it to House of Hobbies, Unit F, Platts Lane Industrial Estate, Burscough, West Lancashire, L40 7TP and please include a little note explaining why it's coming back to us and your order number.
